KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - offkeykaraoke performs I Am The Walrus on Singer's Showcase - Turned it into a voice shredder. Kinda like Metallica meets The Beatles. For those who said the vocals need to be more up front, I did re-mix it and will submit it again at a later date. Thank you all also, it sounds pretty good. I guess I thought it sounded better hiding more of the vocals. That's just me always trying to hide my voice behind the music. Kind of a shy thing.

Soapguy I'm ashamed to say that I've never heard the original so I have no starting point, but I did enjoy this version. It was a fun listen. I would've like to here the vocal more upfront, though. -Jon
Reply: Second time I've gotten that. I think I'll try mixing a little more vocal in and resubmitting it at a later date. Thank you for listening :)

syberchick70 Turn up the vocal volume!! lol ;) You sound fantastic on this. So cool to hear when other folks start tweaking around with stuff like that. I really enjoyed it!
Reply: started with the vocals up and they were pretty abrasive up louder so I turned them down. The vocal mix is so sharp that when louder it almost gives you a headache. This was a fun one to sing and mix though because the way the vocals were there were a lot of ways to go and I chose the deep far away alley type of sound. Glad you enjoyed it.

birdofsong I'm a big Beatles fan. I love this song, and I think the effects you put on your mic were great. It does sound like you put your voice through the paces. I'm going to have to go listen to some of your other subs so I can hear what you sound like without the effects. Thanks for posting this.
Reply: Thank you, Glad you enjoyed it. I have so much fun with my karaoke toys and actually feel humbled and just thankful when someone enjoys listening to something that I enjoy doing so much. ;)

Connie Wild!!!! What a great listen! I hope your throat is okay after that. :)
Reply: Thank You again Connie, I don't listen to my recordings too much except for a select few and this one is joining that bunch. I just got some new recording and editing equipment and went nuts. This was toward the end of a 15 song recording session. I guess I was just having too much fun. If there is such a thing.
