KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - DEE performs Helpless on Karaoke Showcase - My dear friend Neil and CSNY produced this song back in 1969 and it is still popular today. They did this song 17 different ways/styles, until Neil used his harmonic sound, at a slower beat/rhthym, then is was perfect. He's a good friend of mine and approx. seven years ago, another friend, k d lang (yes she spells her name with no periods or capital letters-that's her signature) sang this song at the Juno awards in Canada and sang this tribute to honor Neil Young. However she began to sing and almost half way through, Neil tried to get up from his seat and fell flat onto the floor, unconscious. An ambulance showed up and brought him to the hospital, he suffered a brain aneurysm. He nearly died, but by the grace of God, he lived. Was out of commision for awhile, but he came back to life and he's now 63 yrs. old and doing what he does best, sing and write. Thank you for listening and have a great night. Love, DEExoxoxo~~~@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@~~~
