What a really, really good listen for me !!! I very much enjoyed the mellower sounds in this song as it gave me a chance to hear every tone you sang. You voice is a powerful instrument which you have mastered beautifully. Thank you sincerely for sharing. Irene |

Steven! Good to see you, my man! Ya know, I was lying in bed, trying to think of songs for the Challenge... this one popped into my head & I had a feeling you were gonna do it. And you DID! Man, this sounds incredible... I remember hearing you do it a while back (great subs "stick" with you), and I'm glad I got to hear it again! You've got the PERFECT Billy Idol sound and "feel." The mix is very cool (I like the repeating "face, face, face) before the break, and I loved how you used different effects for the bridge part. Most people simply "plug in a mic and go," but you always turn in a detailed, carefully crafted performance. It's one of the things that makes your songs so appealing! Awesome job, man! |
Reply: Hey dude, you are right I did do this song about 5 years ago or so...it was about the time when you first entered the SS stage, in fact I think the first sub you heard from me was a Billy Idol tune or maybe it was a DOORS song I don't remember!LOL but quite frankly I just don't believe in resubs because anything I've done in the past I don't consider worth putting out when I can just redo it with the newer methods & skills. Very cool you remembered the old one. Thanks bro! |
