Woah............ Nearly missed this little beaut. |This is COOL... !!!! Your speaking voice is so clear and pure. SJ doing superb vocals too. A great mix PP and SJ. Sorry I missed this when you first posted. Steve. |
Reply: Steve! I didn't even know you left a comment and I was here on the 21st, just never dawned on me to check my profile, wow what an awesome surprise!! Yea this song was a lil' tricky cause I did it in more of a whispery voice so my diction had to be clear otherwise it would sound all fuzzy. So very happy you stopped by and we're so thrilled to read your thoughts, thank-you my sweet friend! PS, don't think I didn't notice you deactivated and I want you to know I miss you very much! :-) Love, PP |

Reply: Hey Pam, lovely to see you too! That lil' duet icon is adorable, she even has red hair & her black business suit on just like me!LOL! The timing on this song was a tad tricky but after sleeping on it, it became a walk in the park & I breezed right through it! It's so amazing to me how I think I know a song but when I go to break it down, I don't know it at all!LOL! Your comments are as sweet as the cappuccino I am sipping right now, thank-you & Da Boss thanks you as well! Both of us love ya! :-) |

Hey Andy,
Man, I just love this tune. You and Steven gave us an awesome rendition. I absolutely loved the way you managed the production of this great classic. Excellent timing and vocal control on both the highs and lows. Thoroughly enjoyed my listen, sweetie - yeah! See you next time!

Reply: Yea I love this song too, it's so hypnotic! & the other thing that drew me to wanting to do it was I never heard it subbed here before & it certainly wouldn't have been possible for me without Steven! I tell ya, when I take a song & sleep on it, it works out so much better come record time cause I get a better sense of the song. Glad you like it John, very nice comment & we thank-you! :-) |

Hey Andrea, it's great to see you posting again! This song turned out AWESOME... the idea to have you doing the verses and Steven doing the choruses is a fantastic idea, and it worked to perfection! I've always liked the song... it brings back some good memories & you two brought it back in GRAND style! Great job by both of you!! |
Reply: Yea I finally had the time & the mindset to record, been so inundated with my work lately that to let loose a lil' bit was good on my soul! Not sure when the next available slot will be to do it again cause it takes a lot more preparation for me to just wing out a song, I hafta learn it then sleep on it for a while. It was a no brainer having SJ do the choruses, I could never touch those, I'm more comfy with the rapping parts. Thrilled you enjoyed it Mark, thanks a whole lot! :-) |
