Train's first monster hit, "Drops Of Jupiter" was 2001's Grammy Award winner for 'Best Rock Song'. The song's always had special meaning to me. I hope you enjoy my cover of this classic. Been very busy, lately, helping my kid organize and start his new business. Just had to take a moment to drop-in and share this newly recorded tune, with everyone. It felt great to pick-up the mic and record, again.
FYI from Wikipedia: Chuck Taylor, of Billboard magazine reviewed the song favorably, saying that it "demonstrates a truly artistic lyrical bent that merits instant acceptance of this credible rock-edged song." He sums up the review by stating that "add piano, a splendid orchestral backdrop, and a vocal shimmering with passion and personality and this is a runaway track for Train". I just hope it's not too "passionate" sounding for that good old KIWI friend of mine, Vickie, whom I can imagine is cringing at the thought - LMAO!
