KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - Mark Cheetah performs (we're all) Clones on Karaoke Showcase - Hey folks, a happy Metal Monday to all. It took me a while to put this song together... I used some midi files for the drums & keyboards, but there wasn't a bass track available, and the guitar part was way wrong. So I had to play guitar and bass... thank goodness it's an easy song, because I'm not much of a guitarist. LOL! There were a lot of multiple vocal parts required... Joyce figured out all the harmony parts & taught me how to sing them. So I'm giving her a great big thank you for helping me out... and thanks to all who listen as well! I'll be back tomorrow lookin' to keep the Rock party going. This song is a bit different, and not the usual sound one might expect from Alice Cooper. Here's some song info from Wikipedia... thanks for listening! *****"Clones (We're All)" is a 1980 single by rock singer Alice Cooper taken from his 1980 album Flush the Fashion. It reached #40 in the US charts, his first top 40 single in two years. The song is about forced conformity. Cooper reports that he wanted to do the song because he was looking for a new sound.[1] It was written by David Carron (1948-84), who had played in Arlo Guthrie's Shenandoah, and the short lived Gulliver.*****
