I tried to record this last night, but we were in a hotel room, so I couldn't sing loud enough for it to really work. I apologize yet again for the distortion on the vocals. Best I can do for now! Hope you enjoy it anyway :) PS forgot to mention that in order to have as little distortion on the voice as possible, I am singing much quieter than I normally would... It's refreshing to hear somebody actually sing this song the way it's SUPPOSED to be done, instead of the pop stars who desecrate our National Anthem by putting all kinds of "twists and turns" in the melody so they can show off. You did an absolutely BEAUTIFUL job! I love that high register you sang it in... it was already way up in the stratosphere, and then when you did that octave jump, it nearly blew me out of my chair!
