Description: |
"Too Marvelous For Words" was written by Richard Whiting (m) and Johnny Mercer (w) and first appeared in the 1937 movie, "Ready, Willing & Able." Frank Sinatra recorded it twice, most famously in 1956 with a Nelson Riddle arrangement; that recording appeared in the movie, "What Women Want," with Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt. Rosemary Cooney recorded the song in 1960 with a faster, swinging arrangement, and I am singing over her original recording with vocal elimination and the key raised a bit. -- Donn |
