I developed stage freight in 1971 and quit music. In 2001, I began singing again. A while later I heard someone sing this song and was floored. I asked the host what it was, and he replied.. "That's Garth". Continuing to a blank stare... "That's Country".. That was my indoctrination to the New Country and it's artists. I couldn't wait to learn this, and it was the first "country" song I sang. I love the lyrics & mood.. I hope you enjoy it.. :-) |
