Hey Chet, I haven't seen you in a while... how are you? This backing doesn't sound too bad for a VR track... I just recently stripped the vocals off a track, and the bass guitar part and the snare drum completely disappeared! I briefly considered playing those parts myself & adding them in, but it's just too much darn work. Don't you hate it when your favorite songs aren't available? Your voice is in super-fine shape here... excellent pitch, great feeling, a nice tight performance despite the backing. You sound a lot like Elton John here. Fantastic job! |

Hi Chet, I’m not familiar with Rickie Lee Jones’ music (I could be the only one on this board who isn’t!). However, I am glad that seeing him in concert inspired you to sing this genre, which you’ve covered as well as you do the music of Fogelberg and others. Applause! Ron |
