KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - Rising_Phoenix performs Art is Calling For Me- Dedication to All on Karaoke Showcase - I have been in a severe creative slump of late- probably burn-out from preparing for an audition last month. Anyway, here is a playful jab-- everyone will more than liklely be able to relate to the lyriics here. This comes from the show "The Enchantress", which originally opened October 9, 1911 in Washington, D.C. (who here remembers this?) This is normally sung by a very light soprano voice, not a mezzo like myself, so it probably sounds a bit odd. Hope you enjoy, anyway. I appologize for the sub-par recording quality, but I've been having a lot of technical difficulties with my current set-up. I plan on re-vamping my recording facilities very soon. Thanks so very much for stopping by for a listen and any comments.
