.: Smokin In The Boys Room :. dumbdrums Date Submitted:  2008-03-31 [Archive Date: 2008-06-29] Genre:  General Original Artist:  Motley Crues version Additional Info:  Disc Mfg:    Disc #:   Description:  hey gang..had a pretty good week with my health..i hope it continues...that being said and on the topic of health, 8 months ago (august 1 2007) i quit smoking and have been smoke free since..not only did i quit, but i am certain i am done with cigs forever..i did it using a drug called chantix...it worked a miracle with me..i smoked for 20 years and even at the insistance of my son, (who those of you who know me know he is my world) i couldnt quit..its ironic that i am having all the health problems i am having right now cause i always thought that quitting would make me healthier than ever BUT it is a shock to your system and takes a good year to level itself off..these panic attacks i have been having, i used to smoke to alleviate my stress..without that, my body hasnt figured how to trick itself into calm mode...ive had more illnesses since i quit as well..its amazing the minds power over our bodies..but i am sooooo happy and proud i will not be dieing from lung cancer !! that is huge for me, since my dad died at 37 years old from cancer..so anyways, as big as a birthday is, this day is another birthday for me..its the day i took control of my life and did something amazing that will allow me to live a lot longer for my son..so Happy Smokelessday to me..come celebrate with me my good friends...i give you a double themed song today...a metal tune AND a song dealing with smoking !!any of you that are having troubles quitting, look up Chantix and get started today !! this by the way is a resub so the quality is not the greatest and there are points in it where it sounds like i am glorifying smoking...but unfortunately there's not a lot of antismoking songs around :) Overall Rank:  Rank Unavailable Total Comments:  0 Listen:    Sorry, this submission has been archived.
