this is a long overdue request for shanagain. her and her hubby IRBent are some very cool people and i am honored to sing this song for her. I remember way back to an early MTV summer seeing this guy on a video with the coolest hair ever singing a song that had a classic keyboard/guitar riff that would soon become a blueprint for a new genre of music that was on the horizen. that would be 80s hair metal.I thought man that dude is goin places and after sales of over 100 million records, i was right, he did go places. so it is truly my pleasure to sing this one for shanagain. thank you for the wonderful request..i hope you all like it !
funny sidenote..at the end i have an echo on the last line..it resolved perfectly but i kept hearing this weird obnoxious noise at the very end (no it wasnt my voice) i broke it down in cool edit and realized my kid turned on a tv as i was ending the tune and that noise was a "BOING" from a cartoon....kids....sheeeeesh! almost left it in but its gone now, but thats why it just cuts off at the end... |

Mikey!!! two very cool people indeed! as Andy mentioned this song is near and dear to me!...and here's a little tid bit you may not be aware of!... on the studio version, Bon Jovi didn't do the falsetto at the end!...it was a friend of mine Russel from a rival band named "Prophet" who sang that part!...and he use to bust me all the time!LOL until we ran into each other at the cat club in NYC! when I was signing a deal with Marky Ramone! at Ace Freely's debut of Comet! back in the 80's! that shut him up pretty quick LOL....any way I'm rambling here...Man this was Awesome blood and gut's singing!....you totally rocked this man!...SWEET!!!!!!!!!!and have a great thanksgiving |

You already know I love Bon Jovi, dude. This was one sweeeeet awesome sing, bro! Loved your cartoon "Boing" story, too - maybe the kid's got a future mixing things up in a recording studio, but, nobody realizes it yet (i.e. Bon Jovi B4 he made it - ha! ha!). Hmm the story with me and BonJovi... in the 80s my mother made a huge mistake and married this dude who told her 6 weeks after the wedding day that he didn't find her attractive enough to have a physical relationship with...She somehow stuck with him for 2 years in a separate room scenario. When she moved out it was less than a week later he moved his mistress in complete with children, what a cunt. He had bought BonJovi tapes for the little swines. The day Mother went to pick up the last of her stuff, the brats were playing this on her stereo (Which could have theoretically been used in later years to blast Iron Maiden and Deep Purple through courtesy of me) and said that it had been a present from Wayne (The Wanker that screwed my Mother over) However, I was conceived in a Water Bed some time after this incident and thus has no effect on my opinion of BonJovi :)
