KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - Sheree performs Take a Giant Step on Karaoke Showcase - I know I know, it’s Metal Monday... and you’re saying “What.. the.. is she out of her ever lovin’ mind?” Well, yes. But that’s beside the point. :) This particular song was written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin. It’s always been a favorite oldie of mine. Mikey had done me the honor of making this backing for me some time ago. He did such a fantastic job on it. He really put a lot into it, as you can tell. But, after it was all said and done, I couldn’t sing it in the original key. *gasp* After I pitched a fit... I mean....raised the pitch (in Cool Edit) Mikey felt it sounded as if he was playing a toy guitar. Heh. So, we shelved it and I’ve never submitted it here. But, I felt like submitting it tonight, just because. Because it's late and I'm out of my ever lovin' mind. Happy Monkee Monday! *crawls off to bed in shame* My deepest thanks to all who listen... Enjoy Mikey’s toy geetar! Heeee.
