Finally found some extra time to do something I've been wanting to do for awhile....write an original song. I am most fortunate to have a son who is a musician and song writer (he sings too) ....Trevor has quite a few backtracks that he composed and then recorded and he recently told me I could help myself to a slew of em.... Talk about being a kid in a candy store!!! ......Trev does all the instruments...plays each one on a separate track and then puts them together so it sounds like a band playing. Out of the blue, the little bugger can come up with a song and have it recorded in a day :) ....I'm one lucky Mom!!! ......I added some harmony in a few places... ....I really had fun doing this. :) ........I think I would classify it as a rock blues...what do you guys think? ......©CB..2007 |
