KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - oneofakind864 performs dont leave me this way on Karaoke Showcase - OK- this is probably going to go over with many of you like onions and chocolate. I have never quite figured out why "Disco" out of all the music in the world inspired such strong feelings. You either love it or hate it- but I don't know anyone who is ambivalent to it. I happen to be in the first category- It brings back warm memories of when I was an adolescent who couldn't wait to be old enough to go to places like studio 54(Of course it closed down before I actually WAS old enough Waaagghhhh!) I remember holding a either a spoon or a hairbrush for a mic and pretending that I was Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, or the lady who did this song-Thelma Houston. So if you don't like disco- move on to another sub- but if this genre brings back fond memories of the funkiest period in dance history- press listen and get yo boogie on! Disco never dies in my book!

Keonsmommy Well I'm a bit young to truly appreciate disco, but I do love the fact that it makes you wanna dance. I am in awe of your voice. This is great!
Reply: LOL...I think I'm a little bitter that I'm old enough TO be the disco queen...LMFAO...BUt if it can make a young whippersnapper like you want to dance -then I think I will survive(Oh God!) I'm even talking my answers in discoese now! Glad you liked it!-Paula

Jerry777 Not only are you a lovely lady, but your singing is equally lovely! And, your mix is perfect. You have to know that your sound is EXCELLENT! Just a terrific style!!! Jerry
Reply: Thanks Jerry-but you're probably going to regretbeing so nice because while you were commenting me I was subbing a new song...and somehow we mutated into another "thing" Now there is a version of "And I am telling you" with my comments about being a DRAG QUEEN IN TRAINING posted with YOUR Picture..OMG! (Bugeyed!) I tried to delete but it won't let me...see if you can! So WIERD! And I am SOOO sorry--but I guess it is kind of funny. I hope your sense of humor thinks so too!
