The Dance...
For some reason, this song always reminds me of the tragic 1996 American Everest expedition that ended in the death of many including two of the worlds best and most well known climbers Scott Fisher and Rob Hall. In my opinion, the story is about how we all push for excellence and our own summits. Sometimes we die trying. Sometimes those around us die along the way or while we are trying to rescue them. This is the Dance of Life. I dedicate this to them, and all of us. For an exciting read about this topic I recommend the book "Into Thin Air" by Jon Krakauer. ~Bill |
