KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - Shunn performs Strangers In The Night SINATRA on Karaoke Showcase - This is one of the old songs that used to embarrass me when I was a kid because it was a little bit Swanny Riverish, sung on tons of TV shows by people who couldn't sing, etc. Once I started listening to Frank Sinatra I regained a great deal of respect for the song and for the power it possesses. It's a song that will quite frankly live forever, or as long as our society stays intact. A great legendary tune....

Reply: I once sang this in (like) May at a bar and they threatened to cut me off.

MorganLeFey Sinatra has a voice that is damned hard to emulate. His lack of formality the way he slides his vocals and unusual timing etc. Nice job sir lancelot
Reply: I enjoy Sinatra's version and not really anyone else's. You're right in that Sinatra brought an originality to everything he sang (as did Elvis) but Frank's singing was more talent because he did it long after whatever looks he had were long gone while Elvis became embarrassed by his looks and thought it was all he had to offer to some extent.

*Cinderella* lol at Swanny Riverish...you sound like me...I love to make up my own words too. Okay...let's listen... Oh yes, this so suits your voice so very nicely. I really like your version, very smooth and romantic. Great sing, Jeff! Caught a few of your comments in the forum...you're one witty fellow, gave me quite a few good laughs, thank you!
