Reply: Not the version? I'm not sure how to take that since you told me this was one of my very best songs. That almost says it didn't measure up, Bill. I'm pretty lucky in that my karaoke system is set up in a semi soundproof room and as long as I close the doors and remember to turn off the phone, nothing gets on my recordings....except the guy who mows my lawn - he made it on to one of my recordings LOL. I love U2 - especially their older stuff...I remember seeing/hearing them on MTV a lot in the 80's and they had my full attention. You did an amazing job...and 5 takes - well its rare when I get a song in 5 takes...I either laugh or mess up a word - I'd say 8 - 10 is my average and they still aren't very good LMAO. I know one thing, when you get your new recording set up, you're going to be hard to beat...your vocals are dynamite!! Loved my listen...Drea :) :) |
Reply: My kids sort of know to keep their voices down but they have a tendency to get excited when I play the karaoke and they chase each other around or dance, sing whatever. I don't mind horribly if they are heard in the background but it's when they throw me completely off that I start to get frustrated. 5 times for me is way too many. My patience level isn't suited to that many attempts. Thanks! |

Jeff, I came over her to listen to the nice guy that left me a comment.. It's so hard to find time to listen to everyone, but whenever someone new gives me a listen I try to return the favor and I am really glad you got my attention... You did a really great job on this, I really enjoyed my listen to you here and will be on the lookout for more from you from now on... Where in Texas are you??? Shunn performs ONE U2 on Karaoke Showcase of Karaoke Scene Magazine Online: Shunn performs ONE U2 on Karaoke Showcase - I tried to do this about 5 times as I remember and had problems with the kids ruining what I thought at the times were the best versions. They get excited when certain songs come on and I never know which ones that will be. I can do much better on this but if 5 attempts yields this as best I'll go with that until I get bored enough to do it again.
