I want to take the opportunity to say a real special thank you to everyone who subbed songs in my honor for my birthday on Monday, as well as those who listened to my sub and wished me happy birthday. You made my birthday very special this year. I was dreading this one! lol I have been 29 for a long time! lol Looks like I turned 29 again! Hey! I'm not going down easy! Anyway, I really want to let all of you know how much it meant to me for you to remember me on my birthday. I have always said that the people here in SS are the most wonderful, special people in the world. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

OHHHH ANOTHER GOODER!! I think I may have heard you do this one before, but I'm not positive.... I absolutely LOVE the way you make subtle changes to the original! You truly are all pro! The world outside of Texas and SS doesn't know what their missin'! |
Reply: Hi darlin! This is the first time I have ever subbed this tune. If there is one thing that I am always very self-conscious of, it is the subtle changes I make to a song. I always hope that people who know a tune well, will like my version better. I love to listen to Strait, but, to me, there are a few things I wish he would have done when he recorded some tunes. I spent the day on the golf course with one of our hometown boys who has made it big in the NFL. Shawd Williams plays for the Buffalo Bills as a running back.
