A couple days before my son's wedding I decided to record a few love songs as a personal gift for him and my new daughter-in-law. Little did I know I'd be starting my new job the following Tuesday. Since then I've been trying to get adjusted to the new daytime hours and to be honest it's been whoopin' my butt lol. I'm starting to get back into the swing of things now so hopefully I'll be making more appearances here--I've really missed hearing you all so much!! My mind is just so tired--working nights for almost 13 years then going back to a day shift is a feat in itself lemme tell ya! Anywhoooo!!! I sang this song and At Last in the wedding ceremony, hope you like it. I started crying before I even started singing the first verse so please forgive the tears. This is definitely NOT my best performance but it is from my heart. As a matter of fact, the wedding was the last time I sang so I'm gettin' antsy! For my son BJ and my new daughter-in-law Amanda, I love you!! Happy listening and it's good to be back!! Ain't they purdy!!! |
