Life is so short. My father will die in the near future. Maybe a few days... maybe a little longer. He has been husband to my mother for nearly 53 years. Some good. Some not so good. I don't know why. Maybe she just likes this song. But she asked me to record it for her a week or so ago. She wanted the Marty Robbins version of the music, but I've not been able to find it. I don't feel much like singing these days, so I'm probably more off key than usual, but it's the best I could do. |
