I thought this was an 80's song, but I checked to make sure and nope, 1992... so it qualified for the theme. This is the only Sade song I'll even try. Most of her stuff is way too difficult for me. I really like the way this starts out, very "sultry" soundin. you got this one down pat! Sounds very good when played loud (in case you haven't tried that yet haha). sounds like some harmony in there, is that you on two tracks. If not, you still harmonize with the backing vocals so well. Reply: Hi Russ... here you are again :) I haven't played this loud (I never listen to any of my subs on anything other than my laptop speakers and they don't get that loud... listening to myself is always a bit intimidating for me). The harmony is the background singer on the CDG, and I guess I was fortunate that she wasn't too overpowering or way off key so that I could harmonize with her. I have another backing to this where the singer is just AWFUL, lol. Thanks for the compliments! So nice of you! |

Reply: LMAO, shall I get the hose?? You're nuts!! Those high whispery parts were a pain in the arse. I had to keep redoing it because I kept wanting to sing them in my normal voice, and it just didn't sound right. And then it made my head hurt to keep trying to do it over so I gave up, lol. Wow, This is the first sub I have been able to listen to in quite a while. No need to listen to any more as it I don't think it will get any better than this. Fantastic job on this Deb....blown away by this one too...Awesome....You certainly got that "smokey" sound down. a "10" in my books. |
