I need a "lullaby" category! This one's a great song to submit late at night, considering I can almost guarantee it will put you to sleep. :) I bought an Enya songbook with piano parts for her songs on her Watermark album (my personal favorite). Only problem being...I don't play the piano worth anything at all. Sooo... I plunked out what I could, sorta learned the parts, and just "oooed" them in the background. They're not completely accurate, since I kept forgetting notes as I was running back and forth between my out-of-tune piano and my microphone... but hopefully with enough reverb I'll mash all the precision out of it and you won't be able to tell too badly. :) Oh - and there's supposed to be two more verses, but I left them out to avoid putting *myself* to sleep while recording this.... lol! |
