KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - Electrophoretic performs The Very Thought of You on Karaoke Showcase - Hi! This was originally done by Natalie Cole, daughter of legend Nat King Cole. I've been wanting to sing to a jazzy tune and this was the one I liked the most out of the backings I found. I thought this song was very cute, simple, and romantic, and perfect for a lazy Sunday. In my single status, I dedicate this song to my future hubby. Lol. I would love to hear any tips you have on singing technique, this one was pretty tough for me to sing. I'm no Natalie Cole, obviously, she's one of a kind. :) Hopefully my voice isn't too loud at certain parts, like the beginning. And also, there is a minute-and-a-half musical interlude, so you can skip to 3:00 or so if you don't want to hear it. Thanks for listening!

*Cinderella* You have a very beautiful voice and you sang this song wonderful, my only suggestion would be to turn up the volume, it was too low. Enjoyed much! :)

elderberries I'm just tremendously impressed with your voice, period. You have great style without being overdone, and your tone is just beautiful. Easily a 10 from me.

hessemoto E, For someone as young as you are, you show a great amount of maturity in your phrasing and dynamics. That means you must listen to music and absorb what you're hearing. These slow ballads can be over done by adding too much embellishment. I appluad your straight forward approach in your presentation of the song. The lyrics should never be lost in the interpretation. Very Well Done Young Lady. Hessemoto
Reply: That means a lot to me, thank you very very much. I do LOVE music, I'm glad that what I was trying to do with this song came through to people. I hadn't considered that I had done a more simple approach to the song, thanks for pointing that out! These comments have made my day!
