Second time trying to upload this. I made this recording for the wife of a guy who left the music on my doorstep with a note saying she would pick up a recording of me singing it today. She's here now, so, this is what she gets! hahaha! Though it's flattering, I think she needs her ears checked! Oh, Elvis recorded this too, but I always liked B.J. Thomas' version better. I think I can do better than this, but is it at least passable? |

Sooo glad I'm getting caught up with your tunes. Sure am sorry it's taken me this long. I don't get to high speed much anymore...bummer. Haven't heard one yet that's a klunker so stop beating yourself up. Like I said, I'm always guaranteed a good listen when your name is there! Enjoyed this one very much! Smoochies! |

Reply: B.J. Thomas has a voice I have admired since I was a kid. This one was probably my favorite of his for a couple of reasons -- "it's got a good beat and it's easy to dance to." So the children will know, that's what they always said on American Bandstand when asked about a new song. Glad you like the tune, Cass. :) |

Sure dislike when people go crazy with their letters, screws up the page and makes it very difficult to read then. Ok, enough venting, lol, sorry. I love the your take on this song. You have a voice that is always so very pleasant to the ears and I enjoyed this extremely!! |
