The song title has nothing to do with the song as it is a beautiful Japanese love song but the record people figure the name "Sukiyaki" would be recognizable... This was one of the first foreign language songs and Japanese no less to ever chart.... This song is as popular today as it ever was and the familur whistle in the middle and at the end almost eyeryone knows.... The artist Kyu Sakamoto was killed years ago in a plane crash.....
