KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - johnbaum performs Id Love You To Want Me on Karaoke Showcase - Just getting around to trying to record on my new to me Focusrite Scarlet 4i4 into Ableton Live Lite 11. I think I got it figured out. Please do let me know how it sounds. I may have been a little heavy on the reverb but listening to Lobo, it seems he used quite a bit as well. This song was Lobo's best charting song and was released in 1972. Yes, I remember it playing on the radio. Hope you like my rendition of it. John

El Hefe That's solid, Mr. Baum. A nice listen on a rainy NYC day. Keep it rockin'.

Starlyter - Brad John your cover is sounding super. Mix is balanced and vocals are clean and spot on. Enjoyed listening this morning. Question: Did you use the "Air" feature on the 4i4? I'm just curious how well that works vs without....Brad
Reply: Brad, Thanks for listening and the comment and question. I didn't use the AIR feature on this song but have used it on others. Honestly with my hearing being as bad as it is, I really can't notice a difference. I am however very happy with the 4i4 and Ableton. The Software took a little time to get used to it and figuring out the Loopback feature took some time but now I can record both the backing track and the vocals as well as monitor the whole thing in real time is important to me. Thanks
