When Pam asked me to do this one, even though I am not a Elvis song Singer, I agreed because, well it was Pam. How could I decline. I recorded my part several times and she picked the rendition that she thought was best then recorded her part and did her mixing magic and this was the outcome. I have lost several friends over the years but I do believe I have taken her loss worse than any other. Gone way way too early. Cudos to whoever decided to open all of her songs to be listened to.
