KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - mav2100 performs Smooth Operator on Karaoke Showcase - I joined Singer’s Showcase on August 31st 2006 at the urging of my best friend Don Janson. Prior to that he had asked me to sing this song because he thought it would be a perfect fit and of course he wanted to do the saxophone parts. So after telling him I needed a track with no backup singers so I could do my own. He actually had his friend and keyboard player Russ, make it for me. Then he took out his tenor sax and got to work on the perfect track. It was great until I got involved. LOL! This was my first sub on the then Singer’s Showcase, (it will always be Singer’s Showcase to me). Today on the Anniversary of that day, I thought I would again torture you with it. This one is and always will be for you, Don! I know many of you already heard this so I have subbed listen only. Thank you all for listening. Love yas, Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam
