As probably everyone on the planet knows , this song was initially released by Queen and was written by the lead singer Freddie Mercury. It was released late 1979 and was the bands first #1 hit. What perhaps many don't know is that Dwight Yoakam covered the song in 1999 and it peaked at #12 on the Country Charts. I have recorded Dwight's version. This is a very fun song with Dwights Rockabilly vibe to it. Hope you like my rendition. I was playing with some new plug-ins on this one. Thanks for listening! John |
