Recorded this many months ago but first time sharing on SS. This song outlines how much letters received by members of our U.S. Military meant back in the days when letters were the only word they received from family and friends. I remember those days vividly. Being away in a foreign land is like nothing else. Today, our service members have tools (computers and cell phones) that can bring family closer so letters play less of a roll, but nonetheless, they still pull duty where duty calls. God bless all my brothers and sisters who have and are serving today.......... |
