I forgot to do noise removal on the previous submission. Consequently, after doing that, every flaw in my performance is exposed...lol.
I even had to do some negative amplify on some parts.
I think the recording is much better now though. |

I agree the vocals are much clearer. I have to admit I never use noise removal. Are you working with Adobe Audition? I do love the way it builds to the chorus. Sounding great! Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam |
Reply: I'm still using the old Audacity. I'm using a Shure SM57 mic on my pc....that's an instrument mic...I never knew until now...I need a SM58.
I have to amplify the vocal track first because it barely shows on the timeline. Then I used noise removal on the whole track, added reverb, then used the graphic equalizer. If the vocal isn't loud enough, I'll pan in some volume. I think the vocal always sounds too loud afterwards. Thanks again. |

Hi Perry...I don't hear any flaws...just full on raw emotion...You are definitely an artist..imo...Not usually my type of music.. Excellent performance though :) |
Reply: I only chose this because it sounded easy, but it took a few times really. Thank You! |

Hello and Good evening!! Both versions are excellent, but I do agree with you.. This one is much more vibrant!! Love listening to your talents! RICH |
Reply: Oh boy....it sure emphasized my weak voice here...lol.
This song is suppose to be a whisper until the chorus, and even that was tough for me. Thanks again. |

Awesome recording here Perry. This one is a lot clearer. Loved my listen this evening. :) |
Reply: Thanks. I realized it later and wondered if I could fix it. Sometimes fixing things makes everything more clear...I'm not a real singer. LOL

Hi Perry
Your introducing another new one for me, and I continue to enjoy your submissions bro. Lately I've disconnected from the alternative rock listening . Kinda soul searching. This was a neat sound with your vocals sounding to every note and change of tempo.Keep um coming my friend. ~Mark~ |
Reply: I disconnected from it myself for a long time. Music is about mood. Alt/rock is not all I listen to. I find if I listen to 70/80s pop/rock I start wishing I could start life over again....bring back loved ones.
90s/2k was a pivotal time when my life was starting to advance in a positive way.....despite some of the absolute ridiculous tunes the era was producing...lol.
I'm using SS just to park my truck at. I appreciate your time. Thanks Bro. |
