I've always loved this song...but, at last, you're the first male I've heard singing it. However, you and Pam are likely going to run away together, at last! However, walking or riding would be more comfy. Excellent duet it and mix and song selection, at last! |
Reply: Thanks ole buddy. Needed a chuckle today and your ringing that bell helped a little. LOL. Appreciate your very kind comment Jerry but spreading rumors might stir the ire of a certain Chicago boss lady....Brad & Pam. :)

Morning Brad! I have always avoide this sing it was always too challenging for me. This duet version was more within my reach.. I was honored that you asked and when I heard your fancy and adorable "Dooby Dooby Doos" I just had to find some harmony that worked on the end. LOL! We both know how that went. Thank you so much for the invitation to this song. You sound amazing and you made it so much fun. I love it when you get your Jazz on. It was my pleasure to collaborate with you again. I think it will be great at the Tiki for all those romantic dances on Valentines day. You are the best!! Thank you to everyone who commented and I hope they all know we appreciate them all. Happy New Year to you Brad, and to all on SS! You Rock! Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam |
Reply: Morning Pam. Just so everyone knows, your efforts on mixing this one went well beyond the norm. We both lost count on the various takes but all were worth the effort in my estimation. Your vocals on this duet came through with flying colors even though you had your reservations on even trying this song. Thanks for jumping on this project and delivering tops in all categories. Thanks for sticking it out beyond what even I thought we would accomplish. You are the best my friend...Brad |

Hi Brad and Pam.. You find some fine classics to turn into duets. it was like you were ont he same stage.. Nice ending where you come together and Pam sneaks in some pretty notes there.. Joyce |
Reply: Hi Joyce. We've been fortunate to find some real fun songs to make into duets. We both appreciate your very kind comments. Now, I must admit that someone, who shall remain anonymous, forecasted that if anyone notice the little notes at the end, it would be you. Thanks for not letting us down, but are you sure you got the "who done it" right? LOL.....Thanks again,.....Brad & Pam |

Starlyter - Brad performs At Last on Karaoke Showcase of Karaoke Scene Magazine Online: Starlyter - Brad performs At Last on Karaoke Showcase - Written by Mack Gordon and Harry Warren for the musical film Sun Valley Serenade (1941). Glenn Miller and his orchestra recorded the tune several times, with a 1942 version reaching number two on the US Billboard pop music chart. Etta James did a solo version but I found a Duet Version recorded by Lou Rawls and Dianne Reeves in 1989 which hit number 1 on the Jazz charts. Ms Pam was nice enough to join me in this duet version. I even let her mix this one which I knew would be great. It is....We hope you enjoy it....
