A year ago today, Dec 19, 2021, a Great Voice was lost to Covid,Carlos Marin Spanish Baritone of Cross Over Group IL DIVO. Carlos, David USA Tenor; Sebastien French Pop Singer and Urs Swiss Tenor had been together 18 yrs. They had just started a UK Christmas Tour. Carlos' last performance was Dec 06.
Carlos 1st performed on stage at age 6 and recorded his 1st album at age 8. He loved to sing and perform..Prior to IL DIVO, Carlos had a solo career in Opera, Musical Theater and TV. Aside from IL DIVO he recorded solo albums, produced his own show and others.
He could thrill you w/ his Powerful voice and melt your heart w/ his soft velvety tones, always w/ passion!!
He had charisma, a smile that lit up the room, loved to have fun and was a kind soul.
He loved the fans - they loved him and is missed by his fans worldwide. Thanks for the Beautiful music, Carlos! YOU ARE TRULLY UNFORGETABLE! Rest Well. |

Aw, that's very sad. Way too many people got sick or died (and still are). I lost a few friends and now have a few friends with long covid. :( Your singing is beautiful on this!!

Reply: Hi Suzanne, Thanks for listening. I've been a fan of Il Divo since 2006 when I saw them at The Greek Theater. Managed to get to 4 of their shows. Carlos was always my favorite and the Heart of the Group IMO. Check them out on utub (the older videos w/ Carlos. Thanks again. Happy New Year. |
