KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - Starlyter - Brad performs November Rain on Karaoke Showcase - Before taking on this little project, the closest I ever came to G&S was a day at the range and anniversaries. Now, with recent talk about Metal Mondays, I figured G&S was a way to meet the bill for such a submittal. When I googled the song, it said the genre was either metal or pop. So for purposes of listening today, lets just say its metal. LOL For all you metal buffs, I apologize up front for my take on this song but it is what it is. I did listen to the original once. What you hear is this old man's take on what little he could remember of the original. I must admit it was fun putting this together. So here ya go Metal Monday. Thanks for taking the time to listen.....

johnbaum Another new one on me (I am beginning to realize that my repertoire has obviously been sheltered). Enjoyed this very much although for some reason after seeing the Band name I was expecting something heavier. Enjoyed my listen very much Brad. Applause! John
Reply: Thanks John. This was and is probably my best attempt to enter that genre. Anything any heavier and this kid would be heading out the back door. Thanks again.....Brad

Jerry If you declare this song to be 'metal,' then I won't metal with your decision. I use to metal, but now I'm just aluminum. I like the double voicing and the mellow way you sing this song!! Great job!! (if you have a pair of tin-snips, could borrow them?) LOL...Jerry
Reply: Thanks Jerry. Actually didn't double voice it but rather used a 2-3 pitch shift detune fx which seemed to fit this song pretty well. Aluminum huh? Does that mean your more flexible or just a dull luster. LOL Appreciate ya...Brad

mav2100 Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? There goes the neighborhood! Brad is singing Metal and I have heard them talking. LOL! You are surprising me with some of your diverse song choices, Sweet Brad!! This sounds pretty sweet for a metal selection. I have never heard this one that I remember. Love the FX you are using? Double tracks? You are getting very clever with your mixing. It works a charm!! This is pretty great. Whoda thunk it would ever be? LOL! You are rocking this !!! Love love love it!! Keep em coming Metal head! Applause from Chicago!! Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam
Reply: Thank you Pam. No double tracks, just a 2-3 pitch shift detune fx I found. Tried numerous before deciding to go with this one. The mix was rather straight forward after the vocal fx was applied. Appreciate ya listening even if I was in the wrong genre for me anyway. LOL Appreciate ya my friend....Brad
