Last year I wrote the lyrics to a song and after weeks of trying to thrash a workable melody out on my Yamaha keyboard, I put it back on the shelf. The other day, I was listening to some jam tracks on WikiLoops and found the perfect fit for my song. The jam titled "Liquid New Year" (Jam # 234515) includes four great musicians: Jody Tripp, Dimeomax, Marceys, and Rp3drums. I added a remix to the jam (Jam# 242814) including vocals and flute from my keyboard for the interlude and "Memory Smiles" was born. Hope you like it...Thanks for listening. |

Love the track Brad even before you sang. So low and sexy and r&b-y! When did your voice get so sexy and low? This is beautiful. Knowing the sad circumstances behind the lyrics make it so haunting and memorable. You are a very talented and resourceful man. Your dedication to this project paid off immensely. Excellent on every level. Lyrics, vocals, backing and mix! I applaud you Mr Mayo! I love this and have added it to my playlist. Don't forget us little people when you are rich and famous.
