Keep in mind, I couldn't find a single version of this song that was recorded as a duet (except a medley by Karen Carpenter and Ella Fitzgerald and that was not the entire song, just part of group of songs they did during one performance.) So this project took on a special kind of challenge. With a lot of trial and error, I was able to produce a duet with Pam's original 2007 cover recording and my 2022 additions. A few injected lines from yours truly, some added harmony and post miracle work and voila, this joint effort worked out pretty good IMO. You got to remember, I had some terrific original source material to work with on this one. Our duet is unique since there was no previous cover for a duet. Many thanks to my singing partner Pam for her terrific contributions to this duet, which was not only separated by hundreds of miles but 15 years also.
