I first heard this song months ago on a rare oldies internet station. I looked it up and it's actually a B side. From Carla Thomas, whose big hit was Gee Whiz. to a song called A Woman In Love, which I have yet to hear. Carla Thomas's dad was Rufus Thomas, famous for the record, Walkin the Dog.
Anyway, I was able to remove the vocals cleanly from this so the Social-Lites could sing their parts.
This soul song is from 1964.
