Some time there are songs I cannot sing so i just wing it. Thinking about Chasing cars...When I was a boy my dog use to chase cars. I tried to get him to stop, but he was hard headed and loved chasing cars!! One day the car won & I lost my buddy. Gary Lightbody wrote the song, and The phrase 'Chasing Cars' came from Gary's father, referring to a girl Gary was infatuated with: "You're like a dog chasing a car. You'll never catch it and you just wouldn't know what to do with it if you did. unlike my dog chasing cars, I did how ever chase after the girls, and even though I had many break my heart, in the end I won :) |
