I bought this song because the track reminded me of the band that played at my wedding in Mexico. Yes it was my second wedding, I married the same guy twice, duh!!! As for the band, they were so good and kept throwing in English songs for the Gringa Bride, Me!! I loved their style! I got the track and worked on it for a while, it's actually been recorded for months, but I have remixed it more than a few times. After the melody I had to add the back up vocals, which, of course, was the funnest part. This is Pam having fun. I know, I know, I am so, so pathetic. LOL! If you never did something like this you should try it! It's "Challenging and Crazy"! Hey, I have heard those very words in reference to me. Do you think I am challenging? OK, good to know...I have lots of ideas but I'm not allowed to express them according to the censors. Just trust me on this! Pam, this certainly is a fun listen and so enjoyable because I love the song, even though I was a mere baby at the time. NO you're not pathetic...you're having fun and it makes me have fun too as I have enjoyed this recording so wonderfully. Another fab performance....and that's nothing to laugh at, now is it! |

Good morning Pam!!!!!!!!!!! I really love this song and your fantastic performance!!!The mix is so excellent as well!! And love your Mexican chants throughout the song!! Your mixing abilities are amazing as well!! Down at the Tiki all I mix are the mixed drinks!
I am going to have to try some fancy Pam style mixing on one of my songs.
Anyway, always love hearing you sing and appreciate all the talent that you put into your recordings.

Hey Pam, I love the Mavericks. Their lead singer Raul Malo is one of my favs, he can sing anything. They have a lot of great covers like this Dale and Grace oldie. Ive recorded a few of their songs but they are not listen worthy lol. You did a great job reviving this one. LOve it. Makes me want to try one of theirs again. |
