In 1961, Town Without Pity was a contemporary (movie) story about the problems of four American troops in Germany charged with rape by a local girl. This put their army lawyer in a dilemma: in order to keep the GIs from receiving the death penalty, he must put the girl on the witness stand and totally discredit her.

Personally, I love this song and have danced with many a beautiful girl as the record whirled. A little snuggling and cheek-to-cheeking dancing was required as the song played, setting the mood. Of course those 'hold-me-tight-Oops-bumps' were never intentional...no, not at all!
