I love the Statler Brothers...the first time I saw them 'live' it was at a small fair in Lubbock, Texas. No one knew who they were...but they won me over, for ever. Rich, it just doesn't get any better than your recordings. This is a supreme recording and truly a work of art! Love it...perfect in every way vocal through mix!! |

Rich101 performs Oh Baby Mine on Karaoke Showcase of Karaoke Scene Magazine Online: Rich101 performs Oh Baby Mine on Karaoke Showcase - This song was originally released by The Four Knights in 1953, Then Bing Crosby a year later, followed by a few other artists until in 1983 when The Statler Brothers released it sending it to #2 on the Country Charts. This was the first song featuring Jimmy Fortune (who replaced Lew DeWitt in the group due to health issues).
The Statler Brother Version is the version I used. A fun song to sing.
