My 1st time hearing this and didn't he have the hit Make the World Go Away? He sure was 'worldly'.. Agreeing with Pam re the Dean Martin influence. The backtrack sounded decent enough to me but I understand and because your voice has so much clarity, it stands out and brings center attention to you. Impressive again..:) |
Reply: Hi Joyce...once again you know your music! Yes, he recorded "Make The World Go Away" and it was a big country hit that also played on the pop's channels. I never met him but felt I was sort-of connected to him. Hi niece sat next to me in a couple of college classes...and her name was Melody Arnold---no kidding...Melody. I'm not sure whose arrangement this is, it may be Dean Martin's as I think he may have recorded it when he slid into country for a few years. Thanks much my friend.... |
