A lost recording I found this week. I’d forgotten it too and not heard it for several years. Way back, I was doing a private women's group luncheon. I had a soundman who ran the equipment and captured songs I wanted to keep, and this was one of those, so I gave him 'the head nod' to record. Requested by a lady but I'd not sung this song in my life (heard it a 100 times though) so I told her I was not sure of the lyrics and she laughed. This was not karaoke so lyrics were strictly from memory. I asked, and they agreed: I listened to the first few bars to get tempo and key and then I sang the song. They were listening and watching to see if could get through it. LOL All in fun! Since few are on this site today, it's a good day to post it...It’s REALLY for FUN as it's not very good so it is “what it is” without a remix. But it's like an old friend to me now...one with wrinkles. LOL |
