It all started on the first of the month when I noticed how decorations in my home town have taken on a whole new dimension and meaning. It seems that despite the hardships and woe in the world, people are trying to keep the Christmas Spirit alive. The colors are so vivid and the LED lights are so bright! It really is a beautiful and the most colorful time of year. This is how the “Color My Christmas” Challenge was conceived and born. The concept is simple, sub any song with a color in the title, there are well over a thousand. You can also submit a song with the word color in the title. I know you all have some color songs tucked away in the drawer, under the bed or hanging in the back of the closet. This is going to be so much fun. I will let this one go as long as it will. So come and join the party!! There is plenty to eat and drink. Abby Gail donated silver bells with names engraved on them to decorate our tree. Ohhhh.. Ahhhh... isn't it beautiful? There are cookies and Eggnog near the entrance. There are three bars, the most popular being the Tiki Bar because Rich Our Very own Music Guru, is A Master Bartender and Mixologist as well!! He invents drinks for every colorful song subbed. What A Man!! We have the entire island to ourselves so there is a stage right in the middle. So when you want to sing one just hop right up there. Do be careful of the “Random Mistletoe” hung everywhere. I need to get my kisses for Christmas. Okay here we go I found this one in my archives and I think the color Pink is under-represented so here goes. This is sub number 60 of the challenge and our 2nd Pink tune. I did this one a while ago, sent it to Don so he could tell me how wrong I sang it and it came back with this special gift. Him doing adlibs and singing some harmony. I guess after I did it so many times to him and others I deserved it!! I was Tickled PINK!!! Thank you all for your enthusiasm on this challenge I am having so much fun. You all rock!!
