KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - rendition performs Al Di La on Karaoke Showcase - My good friend "DUTCHY" asked if I could sing some italian songs in "ITALIAN". So, I do this one first. I might add that trying to sing in real italian DIALECT, while born and raised in America, is impossible. Sort of like doing "country" and being raised in midwest. Quick guide in this song. I will say the words AL-DI-LA (somewhere out there) CI-SEI-TU (there is you). Also I say SOLTANTO-PER-ME (only for me). Here is how they are pronounced --Chee-say-too--sole-tahh-toe-- pear-may. A guy is picturing his dream girl.(somewhere out there). Al Di La is a very popular italian song whenever I do italian functions.

Tex I didn’t realize you were so classy. Great job buddy. Enjoyed it.
Reply: Hi there Mr Tex: Classy? Hey , I sang this wearing my Italian silk suit. Not enough class? So, I sang it looking up at my Juliette on the balcony. Thanks for the comment Pete Rendition

Cantstopsinging Hi Pete.. I think you got the gist of the lyrics and especially the emotion even though the only word I know in Italian is pizza..Nice ending you got there. I will say though that re your description, the Midwest has its good share of folks singing country. This was a very very nice performance from you
Reply: Joyce: Thanks for listening. Yes, in the midwest, there are many singing country. You are correct. But, having a Texas-Tenn real country dialect sound does not exist in Missouri at least. Our Branson area is world renowned for "Country" music. But it is OZARK country dialect.(a big difference). Jerry Vale, Dean Martin,Connie Francis are perfect examples of having no real italian dialect pronunciations. That is what I meant in description.
