KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - Jerry performs One Pair Of Hands on Karaoke Showcase - Hello, friends---and a special hello to sweet, dear friends Pam and Phil who are close to my heart. I am presently going through a rough spell, much like crossing a hot desert without water. Last night, as I was ‘pestering’ God, He graciously reminded me of this beautiful gospel song that says it all for me. I’ll not be recording any time soon. I recorded this song when a lady I do not know sent me the track and saying I should record it. You know Jesus’ hands are evermore healed and strong. And the nails they hammered into His hands and feet and His resurrection are His and our victory. He’s my refuge and that reminds me of another great Christian song whose lyrics go like this: I heard an old, old story, how a Savior came from glory--How He gave His life on Calvary to save a wretch like me--I heard about His groaning, of His precious blood's atoning---Then I repented of my sins and won the victory--Oh victory in Jesus, my Savior forever--I'm a believer, perhaps you are too.

Rich101 Beautiful song Jerry and a great reminder of the Lords power, wisdom and love he has for us all. Great to hear your wonderful voice again, and I have missed you here very much as I know everyone here has. Looking forward to you returning to recording. You are surely in excellent hands. RICH
Reply: Hello my friend and brother in faith! God is in complete control and never forsakes us though we may question the 'why me'---a natural human response when life hands us a challenge. We may be surprised but He never is. I trust Him in things, though sometimes I must grip harder to His hand...and, that's OK. Thank you very kindly Rich...your words increase my joy! Jerry

Tex No one could do this better than this. This is very similar to My woman my wife an old Marty Robins song. Execellento buddy. Stay strong. It amazing what we can get through with a little faith and sometimes a little help. Believe me I know. If you need anything let me know. I be got a 100$ bottle of tequila I’ve been sipping on and I’ll be glad to share.
Reply: Hey Phil...I never considered your insightful observance of the similarly between the two songs. But, you've always been two steps ahead of me! My friend your wisdom of how 'a little faith' is truly the right path. And, it gets better the more we trust all to Him. I well your experience and prayed for you and your family often...and, He supplied your need. Say, that tequila sounds good but, for now, I'm denied its' warm charm. Be well...tell the lady hello too. Jerry
