Inspired by the Covid19 lock-down , this effort has become known as the “I Gotta Get Out Of Here” Challenge. Seven months of isolation has left me quite Stir-crazy. I do believe that all of us needed to get out and do some wild traveling so, I am calling on one and all to take us away from all this. The criteria to be met for this one is simple. The title of a place must be in the title of the song. We are pretty open – minded. So, any place is a place so use your imaginations. We can go anywhere you choose, a city, a state, a country, a planet, the moon, the sun, The Universe, Uptown, Downtown, Old town, Newtown, Up North, Down South, East Coast, West coast, The equator, Up in the Mountains, Down in The Valleys, To the Zoo, to The Ball Game, Heaven, HE Double Hockey Sticks, or out to WALMART!! The choice is yours. You just have to take us with you. So far, we have been to some incredible places. We have sampled some amazing new foods too. Take a look at the first and second pages of submissions and see for yourself! I See a Sea of Pink Cs and I love it!! That’s so poetic isn’t it? LOL! The refreshments are always topped off and we are never lacking things to drink here. The food has been amazing. We have had something from everywhere including Tacos, Fried Chicken, Bar-B-Qued Ribs, Sushi, Pizza, Texas Chili, Jerk Chicken, Sausage, Biscuits and Gravy, Fish & Poi, and of course Moon Pies! The buffet table is twenty feet long!! I will have to add another table at this time. This is the Party Of The Century!!! Thank you all for participating! Whether you are singing a song or supporting those who are with comments, you are keeping this party alive and kicking! Honestly, I am so impressed with all of you. Coming together as a true community in these times of uncertainty and bringing smiles to all of us! I love the songs!! I love the Descriptions!! I Love the Comments! I love the Replies! Here it is Metal Monday again and although I do not sing metal I have been known to sing a little rock here or there. LOL! Green River as Fogerty called it was known as Putah Creek, near Winters, California. It provided John Fogerty many happy childhood memories as his family vacationed there. . So he wrote this song.
