I am still having a hard time believing he is gone. How could it possibly be a whole year ago? I decided to sub my favorite Don & Pam Duet. I wanted to redo my half, but thought I could never sing this song again. I didn't know when I sang it then, and I still don't know it today. I listened to the original a few times before I did my part and did it the only way I know how, my way. Barbra Streisand I am not. I have reached the conclusion, I could never improve upon it, with all it's bumps, bruises, scrapes and cuts. When I did my part and sent it back to Don, I titled it "Warts and All" and told him in the email "Always love the warts they have a way of growing on you". When he downloaded it an listened to it he was surprized as I refused to sing the song for months cause I didn't know it and thought it was much too personal.
